Continuously strengthen independent innovation capabilities. In 2018, Zhangwan approved 1 provincial engineering technology center and successfully recognized 3 university-enterprise co-constructed R&D centers (Kewei Electromechanical, Shengji Hengxin, Guanghui Energy Conservation). It recommended 2 enterprises to apply for the 2018 Provincial Small and Micro Enterprise Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base. There was 1 newly established innovation and entrepreneurship park and 40 registered institutional users on the science and technology information sharing platform. The construction of innovation and entrepreneurship platforms made steady progress; in 2018, Zhangwan District recommended and recognized 9 leading scientific and technological entrepreneurship talents, recommended 5 municipal-level innovation and entrepreneurship strategic teams for application, and applied for 1 provincial-level Class A innovation and entrepreneurship strategic team.
